Beginning in late 2019, Horizons is a visually striking ongoing project that explores an emotional connection to the coast through a photographic practice. As a reflective and emotive response to the coastline focusing on the tranquility found at the edges of Devon and Cornwall, this project highlights the unique qualities that form our diverse landscape. In each of these images, Horizons features identical composition to one another and by excluding specific objects and focusing on the simplicity of multiple horizons, the body of work begins to communicate the tumultuous relationship between both the sea and the sky.
